Are people really upset about the Love in Motion video?
I know I’m quite a bit naive, but I don’t really see anything worth being upset over. I was also a young girl once, and I’m sure I was quite a bit more developed at the age this girl is. This is kind of similar to the kind of stuff we would do at sleepover parties when we were in late elementary/middle school. Especially the part with the boa. It was fun. You know, when you were just repeating stuff you saw on tv or your friends do without realizing any of the sexual connotations, and before you learned to be too self conscious. Before you realized that you wouldn’t grow up to be a pop star (or a horse, or whatever it is kids think they’ll be when they grow up). I thought it was cute. You know, I can relate to it. This video is how listening to this music makes me feel. Makes me want to dress up and dance in my bedroom like I was 10 years old again.
The only thing is, she was obviously told how to dance and what to wear. So there’s that.
Internets! Please assist me in finding a damn jacket so I can have a super awesome Chivers costume for Halloween.
One that doesn’t cost $150. I’ve been looking, but very little luck. I will even accept satiny polyester that doesn’t have a collar I can pop.
Really wanna buy this and make my own “Chivers” jacket; thoughts?
I want so bad. I love this movie.
http://www.logosoftwear.com/product/4379 looks promising, but is about $100 more than I want to spend on a Halloween costume no one will understand.

Things I Bought: Part 753
Apparently I really love buying vinyl. It’s getting a bit out of hand. I like that it actually looks like I have a collection now though, instead of just 3 records.
I haven’t even gotten around to listening to all of them yet.
What is all this shit? Ummm.
Scott Grooves - Mothership Reconnection
Squarepusher/Mr. Oizo - Shobaleader One (Cryptic Motion)
SebastiAn - Embody
Man Parish - Brown Sugar
Kavinsky - Nightcall (I posted that already)
Gibson Brothers - Cuba
Jamiroquai Remixes 3/4
The Art of Noise - Paranoimia (extended) (Hurray! Max Headroom!)
Benjamin Theves - Texas
Le Knight Club - Hysteria (The people at the record store don’t know what I mean when I say Le Knight Club, but they do understand Crydamoure)
And then we have Mayer Hawthorne - How Do You Do that just showed up today.
Last but not least, my new friend Flat Eric.
Hurray, for more “Things I Bought” posts. Otherwise I’d post nothing.
I still haven’t made that post detailing what I did the other night. Maybe that’s a good thing, because I’m not sure I can entirely remember. Either way, Busy P is a fucking pro.
Which is totally related to the things I bought. SebastiAn - Total and Carte Blanche - White Man on the Moon.
Bought Total off Amazon, then used the $1 mp3 credit to buy White Man on the Moon.
Maybe when I get that turntable working, I’ll buy the vinyl. I love Jack on the Moon. Turntable is direct drive and everything. So now you can’t laugh at me.
Oh yeah, totally taking pictures of stuff lying on my table instead of my bed this time.
